edwin van der heide verfolgt den ansatz, die klanggenerierung von den membranen und elektromagneten herkömmlicher lautsprechersysteme zu lösen. im open studio entwickelt er ein direktes system von druckluftlautsprechern - eine kreuzung zwischen lautsprecher und musikinstrument.

für die kino-installation bioskop haben die beteiligten künstler sich intensiv mit filmgeschichte, filmmusik und dem kino als medialem ort auseinandergesetzt. filmische und filmmusikalische fundstücke wurden bearbeitet, neu collagiert und zu einer art metafilm verdichtet.

edwin van der heide pursues the basic approach of liberating the generation of sound from the membranes and electromagnets of conventional loudspeaker systems. in an open studio he is developing a direct system of compressed air loudspeakers - a cross between loudspeaker and musical instrument.

marko kosnik presents the new work he developped during his residency stay. operabil kobe is a dance solo, performed by sumi masayuki, in an interactive environment. video motion tracking is used to derive the parameters for navigation of real time video remix and conduct of sound parameters.
