während der letzten tage der ausstellung über die "9 evenings" präsentieren die amerikanischen künstler tony conrad und andrew lampert ihre live-film und -musikperformances, sowie ein programm mit aktuellen und historischen filmen von künstlerischen pionieren, die an den grenzen zwischen experimentalfilm, live elektronik und klangkunst arbeiten.

new york, oktober 1966: neun abende in der 69th regiment armory hall markieren die geburtsstunde der interaktiven performance. erstmals begegneten sich künstler und ingenieure in einem kreativen prozess. beteiligt hatten sich inzwischen hochrenommierte künstler wie robert rauschenberg, john cage, lucinda childs und deborah hay, steve paxton und yvonne rainer.

"resonances" geht davon aus, das ein für unbestimmte zeit mit klängen bespielter raum diese auch nach ihrem verklingen noch hält. diese präsenz ist sowohl kollektives wie auch individuelles gedächtnis.
dorsey dunn zeigt die performance/installation "resonances" sowie elemente weiterer aktueller projekte.

9 evenings reconsidered: art, theatre, and engineering, 1966

"resonances" is based on the presupposition that a space occupied for a finite period of time retains the presence of that occupation well after the space itself has been 'emptied'. this presence is both a collective and an individual memory.
dorsey dunn shows the performance/installation "resonances", as well as elements of other current projects.
