... hallo, bin noch neu hier, möchte aber trotzdem anmerken, dass ich 
das zweite "the" weglassen würde:

"The Future of Digital Commons" klingt für mich irgendwie vertrauter, 
soll heißen: so, wie ich denke Ähnliches in "original-englischen" 
Titeln schon öfter gehört zu haben.
(Hm, man könnte das Ganze vielleicht noch "verschlimmbessern", indem 
man Future in die Mehrzahl setzt und somit andeutet, dass wir gerade an 
einem Punkt stehen, von dem aus verschiedene zukünftige Entwicklungen 
möglich sind ... aber das würde die Transportfähigkeit eines 
Veranstaltunges(unter)titels wohl überlasten.)
