Klangkunst auf öffentlichen Klos


Vom 14.01.2005 bis 27.02.2005 führen wir sowohl im Rahmen der hack.it.art
Ausstellung und in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Kunstraum Kreuzberg
(Künstlerhaus Bethanien), als auch außerhalb des Rahmens der Klartext
Konferenz und in der Volksbühne am Rosa Luxemburg Platz das Projekt
„In-KLO-sion/Exklusion“ durch.

In-KLO-sion/Exklusion ist eine Sound-Installation auf öffentlichen und
halböffentlichen Klos.
Schon im Vorfeld gab es um das Projekt einige Auseinandersetzungen und
Tumulte. Aber ist das Projekt wirklich so skandalös, wie gewisse Kuratoren
meinen? Wir finden nicht!

Soundart on public toilets

>From 14th January - 27th February 2005 we will realise
"In-KLO-sion/Exklusion" in the scope of hack.it.art and in cooperation
with the Kunstraum Kreuzberg(Künstlerhaus Bethanien) as well as outside
the scope of Klartext Conference in the Volksbühne am Rosa Luxemburg
Platz.

In-KLO-sion/Exklusion is a sound installation on public and semi public
toilets. Already in the forefront there were some arguments and tumults
around the project. But is this project really so scandalous, as certain
curators opine? We don’t think so!

Short remark on the ethymology: “Closett” and “exclusive/inclusive” have
the same roots: lat. claudere ‘to close, to shut’.
