Featuring pioneering music-machine ensemble Logos Foundation, the Roland 
Olbeter Machines and the modern automata of Gamut Inc, plus new 
compositions for robots, sonic installations, etudes, demonstrations, 
sculptures, midnight lectures, a player-piano concert program and more! 
 From pneumatic micro-pistons to acceleration sensors and 
polarity-changing electromagnetics, the automated & computer-controlled 
music-machines at Wir Sind die Roboter truly demonstrate the heights of 
technological & artistic accord.

For three days, music-machines will take over the Musikbrauerei Berlin - 
an old brewery in Prenzlauer Berg, and one of the last buildings in the 
area that remains in its original state. We invited some of the most 
advanced robot ensembles & performers technically & artistically who 
work with automated music-machines from around the globe. To explore the 
possibilities of robot-music from various artistic angles, we invited 
composers to write new music for these machines. Additionally, there 
will be talks, readings, lectures, and an installation in the 
Musikbrauerei cellar, all framing the topics of music-machines & 
robot-music.
