*CALL FOR WORK DIMANCHE ROUGE ESTONIA OCTOBER 2012
Dimanche Rouge will hold a special edition in Tallinn, Estonia on October
20th & 21st, 2012.
We are currently considering proposals for experimental art performances in
all formats including but not limited to multimedia, dance, performance
art, video, sound, actions, body art, interventions, street art, spoken
word and installations.
Events will take place at Kumu Art Museum and Culture Factory Polymer. The
most representative Estonian exhibition place Kumu Art Museum is one of the
biggest museums in the Baltics, exposing Estonian and international
contemporary art. The former toy factory Culture Factory Polymer, became in
2003 one of the main strong points for alternative un-institutionalized
culture in Tallinn.

Dimanche Rouge Estonia is endorsed by institutions and partners including
Ile de France, the French Institute in Estonia, the Estonian Ministry of
Culture, the Estonian Embassy in Paris, Culture Factory Polymer, and Kumu
Art Museum.
Through our partner Culture Factory Polymer, we will be able to provide
free accommodation for the participating artists.
Please note that Dimanche Rouge works without a budget, therefore we will
not be able to provide any funding. We may be able to help you find funding
and are currently working on sponsorships and partnerships.

WHAT IS DIMANCHE ROUGE?
Since the start, in February 2011, Dimanche Rouge’s events have showcased
the work of over 500 artists from 52 countries.
Dimanche Rouge’s mission is to promote contemporary art performances
reaching a large and diverse public, providing a permanent platform for
experimental art, and fostering international exchanges. Dimanche Rouge’s
core development is a monthly and free experimental performance event based
in Paris, France. This event was born out of a need for a permanent
platform for experimental performances in Paris, and is now established at
different venues for international artists to perform.  Dimanche Rouge is
currently developing projects abroad intended to create sustainable
cultural and artistic exchanges.

APPEL À PROJET DIMANCHE ROUGE ESTONIE OCTOBRE 2012
Dimanche Rouge organisera une édition spéciale à Tallin en Estonie les 20
et 21 octobre 2012 et nous sommes actuellement en train d’examiner des
propositions de performances d’art expérimental dans de nombreux formats
tels que (liste non exhaustive) : multimédia, danse, performance art,
vidéo, son, actions, body art, interventions, spoken word et installations.
Les événements auront lieu au centre artistique Culture Factory Polymer et
au Musée des Arts Kumu.
L’espace artistique le plus representatif en Estonie, le Musée des Arts
Kumu, est un des plus grand musee de la Baltique exposant de l’art
contemporain estonien et international. Une usine de jouets de l'époque,
‘Culture Factory Polymer’, est devenue en 2003, le centre de la culture
alternative à Tallinn.

Dimanche Rouge Estonie est approuvé par des institutions et partenaires
tels que l’Ile de France, l’Institut français en Estonie, le Ministère
estonien de la Culture, l’Embassade estonienne à Paris, Culture Factory
Polymer et le Musée des arts Kumu.
Grâce à notre partenaire Culture Factory Polymer, nous serons en mesure
d’offrir un logement gratuit à tous les artistes participants.
Merci de considérer le fait que Dimanche Rouge travaille sans budget, ainsi
nous ne pourrons nous permettre de fournir des financements. Cependant nous
pouvons peut-être vous aider à en trouver puisque nous sommes en train de
travailler sur les sponsors et les partenariats.

QU’EST CE QUE DIMANCHE ROUGE?
Depuis les débuts en février 2011, les événements de Dimanche Rouge ont
présenté le travail de plus de 500 artistes venant de 52 pays différents.
La mission de Dimanche Rouge est de promouvoir les performances d’art
contemporain en touchant un public aussi large que divers en fournissant
une plateforme permanente pour l’art expérimental tout en favorisant les
échanges internationaux.
L’activité principale de Dimanche Rouge est l’organisation d’un événement
mensuel et gratuit de performances expérimentales à Paris. Cet événement
est né du besoin de l’existence d’une plateforme permanente pour les
performances expérimentales à Paris, et cet événement mensuel est
maintenant établi dans différents lieux afin que des artistes
internationaux y performent.
Dimanche Rouge développe actuellement des projets à l’international afin de
créer des échanges culturels et artistiques durables avec les pays
partenaires.
