in einer aufwändigen kooperation mehrerer europäischer universitäten wurde ein dreidimensionales grafisches und akustisches modell des philips-pavillon und seiner audiovisuellen bespielung hergestellt. mit einem datenhelm ausgestattet, kann der besucher in das poème électronique eintauchen.

das 'poème électronique' gilt als eine der ersten multimedialen installationen: le corbusier gestaltete den pavillon der firma philips für die brüsseler weltausstellung 1958. iannis xenakis entwarf die architektur und edgard varèse komponierte die musik. anhand der originalen bänder hat kees tazelaar varèses komposition rekonstruiert. zusammen mit einer doppelprojektion des filmmaterials ist sie im kubus zu erleben.

kees tazelaar hat aus seiner recherche zum poème électronique eine dokumentation zusammengestellt. neben einem fernsehbeitrag von 1957/1958 über den bau des philips pavillon enthält die dokumentation bisher unveröffentlichtes material aus privaten interviews und fotoalben.

hamburg hauptbahnhof. passanten und routinen. im schatten von überwachungskameras und sicherheitspersonal probiert ligna mit seinem radioballett den seiltanz zwischen tolerierten und verbotenen gesten. über einen kleinen sender werden die regieanweisungen an alle übermittelt, die einen entsprechenden empfänger bei sich haben.

hamburg main station. passangers and routines. in the shadow of security cameras and guards, ligna's radio ballet attempts a tightrope walk between tolerated and forbidden gestures. the directions for the ballet will be broadcast from a small transmitter to all those who have the correct receiver on them.
